The desulfurization slurry pump plays a key role in the wet flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system, primarily responsible for safely and efficiently transporting highly corrosive, high-solid-content (20%-40%) gypsum slurry (main components are CaSO₃/CaSO₄). Specifically, it performs the following functions:
Transporting the slurry generated in the absorption tower to dewatering equipment (such as vacuum belt filters), ensuring the continuity of the desulfurization reaction;
Connecting the concentration and dewatering stages through a closed-loop circulation system, maintaining the stability of the desulfurization process. This equipment, with its corrosion-resistant materials and special structural design, can handle harsh conditions with a solid content of up to 40%, directly impacting system desulfurization efficiency (up to 95% or more) and emission reduction effects.
