Main Materials and Characteristics

High-Chromium Wear-Resistant Alloy
KmTBCr26/28 offers the best overall performance and is the most commonly used. It features high hardness (HRC 58–65), excellent wear resistance, and moderate impact resistance. Optimized through heat treatment processes to balance hardness and toughness. Suitable for the vast majority of highly abrasive applications, such as the conveyance of various slurries in mining, metallurgy, power generation, dredging, and other sectors.

Rubber
Offers good elasticity and resistance to weak acids and alkalis. When conveying fine or smooth-edged particles, elastic deformation cushions wear, potentially extending service life beyond that of metal. Suitable for applications involving fine particles with non-sharp edges and moderate particle sizes (e.g., coal, fine tailings). Not suitable for coarse particles, sharp particles, or high-temperature media.

Polyurethane
Excellent elasticity, outstanding wear resistance (superior to steel under dry grinding conditions), strong impact absorption, and low operating noise. Suitable for high-wear, high-impact applications where temperatures are not high (typically <60°C), as well as environments with noise requirements. Temperature resistance is its weak point.

Ceramics
Extremely high hardness, top-tier wear and erosion resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Suitable for applications involving extreme abrasion and high precision requirements. However, they are highly brittle, have poor resistance to mechanical and thermal shock, require strict installation conditions, and are expensive.
Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
1. During assembly, control the clearance between the impeller and the frame plate liner insert. Excessive clearance causes increased backflow and reduced efficiency; insufficient clearance leads to friction and burnout;
2. Regularly inspect for wear and scour grooves; replace immediately if slurry leakage, vibration, or a sudden drop in efficiency is detected;
3. When replacing, clean the sealing surfaces, select the correct gasket, and tighten the bolts to the specified torque to prevent off-center loading and leakage.
