Vertical cantilever/single-stage single-suction design; semi-open impellers often feature agitator blades to stir sediment at the bottom of the tank; flow-through components are typically made of high-chromium alloy or wear-resistant rubber for abrasion and corrosion resistance;
The motor is positioned above the liquid surface, while the pump body and lower shaft section are submerged in the slurry, eliminating the need for complex self-priming devices and preventing dry-running issues;
The submerged section has no external shaft seal (relying on a liquid seal/isolation chamber), making maintenance simpler than for horizontal pumps; the immersion depth can be adjusted via brackets or piping.
Installation Method
Typically installed using a suspended mounting method, secured to the top of a tank, mixing tank, or cylinder via a mounting plate; the entire unit can be lifted out for removal.
Working Principle
The motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed via a long shaft, creating negative pressure at the inlet to draw in the solid-liquid mixture. The centrifugal force of the impeller pressurizes and discharges the slurry; the stirring blades help prevent particle sedimentation and increase the concentration of the conveyed material.

3. Ensure vertical alignment during installation to prevent shaft bending; install a strainer to prevent oversized foreign objects from jamming the pump.
