Industrial slurry pumps adopt a split double-casing structure. The outer high-strength cast iron casing bears system pressure and structural load. It does not contact abrasive slurry directly and can be reused permanently. The inner wetted liners are replaceable and available in three optional materials: Cr27 high-chrome alloy, natural rubber and engineering ceramics.

High-chrome alloy liners are applied for hard and coarse ore tailings to resist cutting abrasion. Rubber liners are suitable for fine coal slurry and soft sediment, absorbing impact force and reducing vibration and noise. Ceramic composite liners are used for acid, alkali and salty media to resist chemical corrosion and micro-abrasion.

This structure only requires liner replacement instead of whole pump replacement, greatly reducing annual spare parts cost and maintenance workload.
