The mining slurry pump is a crucial equipment used in mining operations to transport slurry containing solid particles, such as ore pulp, tailings, coal slime, etc.

 

Core purpose
Ore slurry conveying: Used to transport the beneficiated ore slurry (a slurry containing solid particles) from one location to another, such as from a mill to a flotation machine, or from a tailings pond to a pressure filtration system.


Tailings conveying: The tailings after mineral processing are transported to the tailings pond through pipelines. Some high-pressure slurry diaphragm pumps can achieve long-distance and high-pressure conveying (with a design pressure up to 16MPa).


Drilling flushing: During geological drilling or coal mine tunnel drilling, mud or clear water is pumped into the borehole to cool the drill bit, remove rock debris, and stabilize the borehole wall.


Coal seam fire extinguishment and hole sealing grouting: used in coal mines to inject slurry for coal seam fire extinguishment or sealing of boreholes.


Dredging and desilting: used for sediment removal in areas such as mine ponds, sedimentation basins, and tailings ponds.


Classification of applicable scenarios
Mine beneficiation process: Transport raw ore slurry, concentrate slurry, and tailings slurry, with concentrations up to 50% to 60% (by weight).


Geological exploration: Equipped with tunnel drill and core drill, providing flushing fluid circulation.


Environmental protection and solid waste treatment: Treat slag slurry containing heavy metals or harmful substances to ensure safe transportation.


Special engineering: such as lubrication grouting and ground reinforcement grouting in pipe jacking construction.
